CLIL IN DUBLIN

19/06/2017   FIRST DAY

The first day was dedicated to an introduction of the programme. First we were asked to introduce themselves to the rest of he group, so we had the chance to know each other. In this course are taking part teachers from several countries with a lot of experience. The coordinator  explain us the timetable of the course, he gave us general information about Ireland  and the evaluation form which we will have to fill in at  the end of the course. 






Later on Rusell McKay gaves a lesson about  "History and Culture in Ireland" and finally we did a photo walk around the most typical parts of the city. 

"Molly Malone" is a popular song, set in Dublin.

20/06/2017   SECOND DAY



Gilles explain us the basis of Clil methodology and we did some activities in groups to clarify some concepts.





21/06/2017   THIRD DAY

We were working on scaffolding for reading and understanding. We organized the texts in diferent diagrams, tables, flowcharts, etc, in order to get the best ideas from the text.





22/06/2017   FOURTH DAY
We were working on scaffolding for writting.  We saw different frames for descriptions, comparisions, predictions, general characteristies, etc.


 
23/06/2017   FIFTH DAY
We were working on scaffolding for speaking We elaborated a Clil lesson that we could use in the National Museum.

28/06/2017   EIGHTH DAY 
We were working on assessment. Gill explain us different methodologies to asess and we should decide what method we would like to apply and present it to the rest of our partners.

We presented  the final task that we prepared in teams in the theatre.
